Dear Sir,

My name is James Smith and last year I was a student at Darwin College of English. My student number was Christ. At the college, I was enrolled in the intensive English course that was offered during the second semester.

First, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the efforts, which help students, like me, to gain invaluable skills that will last a lifetime. Second, I am writing to request a set of copies of my reports and assignments. I do understand that through the usual process, obtaining these documents would take ten to fifteen business days, however, due to my circumstances, I was hoping that you could make an exception.

After completing the course at your college, I was offered a job opportunity. My new employer, however, is insisting on receiving a copy of my assignments and reports to gain a better understanding of my capabilities before assigning me to certain tasks.

I would highly appreciate it if you could make some sort of arrangement to release these documents faster.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any other information.

Kinds regards,
James Smith
