- Explain why you’ve moved.
- Describe the new house.
- Invite your friend to come and visit.
Guidance on how to answer this topic:
This is a letter to your friend. So, you’ve got to make it a bit informal. Not in terms of language (you can’t use slangs), but in terms of style. For instance:
“Dear Suzan,
I’m happy to inform you that I’ve moved to a new house in London. As you know the previous house……….. (explain why it was NOT good. Why you didn’t like it)”. Let me give you a few hints:
- It was far from your college/ place of work. Consequently, you had to travel 2 hours every day.
- It was too small for your family.
Now, explain why new house/ residence/ home is a better place to live.
“Unlike my old house, this one has spacious rooms ………”
Finally, it’s time to invite your friend to your new abode.
“Since you’re visiting London next week, let me invite you to my home. I’m sure you’ll love it and we’ll spend some quality time playing cards and watching your favorite movies.”
